About Mrs. Pritzl

Hello and Welcome!
I'm excited that your child is part of my classroom family!  I am looking forward to a great year of learning with your child.  I love to teach and think that Third Grade is the grooviest grade ever!
This is my 25th year of teaching and it's my 23rd year of teaching at Stangel. I received my bachelors degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in Early Childhood Education (Infancy - Grade 3 certified) and received my masters degree from Viterbo University.  I completed my thesis on Conflict Resolution.
I'm not a Manitowoc native but love living here!  I grew up in Hartland, WI where much of my family still lives. My husband was transferred here 24 years ago with his job. He is a wildlife supervisor for the Department of Natural Resources.  My daughter, Emily, is 20 years old.  She lives, works and goes to school in Madison (Go Badgers!). My son, Peter, is 17 years old and is in 12th grade at Lincoln (Go Ships!).  Some of my loves... my home & class families, nature, camping, dragonflies, Packers, labs, frogs, kayaking, hunting/fishing, horses, reading, chicken dumpling soup, hugs, autumn, coffee, traveling, yoga, duct tape and I'm a firm believer in 'Peace'.
Getting to know your child is a priority of mine and I'm looking forward to it!  We are in for a "savvy" amazing year of learning and growing together!

Peace Out for now! :)

Always Learning,
Mrs. Susan Pritzl
