During science this year, we will be exploring many areas of physical, life, and earth sciences.
We are currently studying our world. Students will be focusing on how water shapes our world. They will be learning about the different landforms and reservoirs on Earth. They also will be comparing and contrasting the different types of rock on found on Earth, and students will be able to describe the characteristics of sedimentary, igneous, and metamorphic rock. During the unit, students will learn more about our groundwater supply: how we as humans impact it and how we can help to protect it. By the end of our unit, students will be able to explain the rock and water cycling that occurs here on Earth.
